What is Sharply? +

Sharply is a directory where independent professionals create a public profile to showcase their work and be discovered. It spans every freelance field — trades, wellness, events, creators, writers, designers, stylists, tutors, legal, finance, engineering, and more.

How do I create a profile? +

Create an account, choose your username, then fill in your role, tagline, about, services, portfolio, skills, and links from your dashboard. When you are ready, publish it to make it public.

Is Sharply free to use? +

Creating and publishing a profile is free. Optional paid features — like Featured placement — are available as a subscription.

I'm looking to hire someone — do I need an account? +

No. You can search and browse every published profile without signing up. You only need an account to create your own profile.

How does search work? +

Search matches across name, role, services, skills, and location, then ranks the most relevant, complete, and available profiles first. You can also browse by guild (category).

How do I get found more easily? +

Complete every section of your profile, keep it current, add clear services, and set your availability. More complete, recently updated profiles rank higher.

What are guilds? +

Guilds are the categories that group freelancers by field. Joining the right guild helps the right people find you when they browse.

What is Featured placement? +

Featured is a paid subscription that boosts your profile toward the top of search results and listings, giving you more visibility.

How is billing handled? +

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.

How do I cancel? +

Open your dashboard, click Manage on the Featured banner to open the billing portal, and cancel there. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.

I signed up but never got the verification email. +

Check your spam/junk folder and confirm the address is correct. You can request a new verification email from the verification screen. If it still does not arrive, contact us below.

I forgot my password. +

Use the password reset page and we will email you a reset link.

Can I sign in with Google or GitHub? +

Yes. You can sign in with Google or GitHub from the login page. If an account already exists for your email, signing in links to it.

How do I delete my account? +

You can delete your account from your dashboard. If you need help, email hello@sharply.me.

How do I report a profile? +

Every profile has a report option. Use it to flag content that seems false, misleading, abusive, or that violates our Terms, and our team will review it.

Does Sharply vet freelancers? +

Sharply is a listing platform. We are not a party to any agreement between freelancers and the people who contact them, and we do not guarantee any work or outcome. Always do your own due diligence.
